The slimes cover the textures that matter: fluffy, stretchy, and a glow in the dark tub for lights-off reveals. The putties include crystal putty in three colours. Then the mix-in tray: charms, pom poms, foam balls, pony beads, wiggly eyes and foam cubes, so every tub can be customised, combined, and rebuilt.

We built this as the slime version of our Giant Craft Kit. One box that covers a birthday, a sleepover, and the wet half of a school holiday, rather than one tub that is finished by teatime.

Fair warning: this is slime. It is a medium mess activity. A wipeable table is your friend and it comes off hands with warm soapy water.

Frequently asked questions

How messy is it really? Medium. Slime and putty stay in one piece and come off hands with warm soapy water. The sand and beads are the bits to do at a table. We would not do this one on carpet.

Is the slime pre-made? Yes. Every tub is ready to play straight away, no glue or activator needed. The fun is in mixing, stretching, and loading it with the charms and beads.

How long does it last? Keep the lids on and the tubs keep their stretch for weeks. Once mix-ins go in, that tub becomes a creation rather than a keeper, which is half the point.
